The purpose of this work is to replace seven (7) existing fire hydrants with six auxiliary valves and install additional one (1) 6” and two (2) 8” main line gate valves at various streets within the City of Keene as shown on the construction drawings. The contractor shall be responsible for providing pipes, gate valves and appurtenances in accordance with the construction drawings and as specified herein or as ordered by the Engineer.
